Bruce Malnor’s father and grandparents taught him to explore the woods, lakes, and rivers of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. In turn, when he was a classroom teacher, Bruce shared his love of the outdoors with his students by taking them hiking and camping. Bruce co-authored Earth Heroes: Champions of the Wilderness with his wife, Carol. They’ve also co-authored several Dawn teacher’s guides. One of his current passions is nature photography, and you’ll see his photographs throughout Dawn’s website. Living in the foothills of California’s Sierra Nevadas, Bruce finds inspiration for his photos all around him.
