Joseph Anthony and Cris Arbo are husband and wife who live with their four girls in Buckingham, VA. Joseph draws on an unusually varied background for his writing. For four years he was a trumpet player for the Navy, and his world view was expanded when he visited 35 countries on five continents as a Navy musician. As a corrections officer in a Virginia prison he gained a very different perspective on life and learned to stick up for himself. As a construction supervisor he gains yet another perspective. Joseph and Cris have created two wonderful children’s books for Dawn Publications:The Dandelion Seed and In a Nutshell. Joseph is also the author of Innerworld (published by Bonneville Books), a young adult novel about finding what it takes to change the world.
